What it Means to be Special
by Jaime L. W.
To be special does not mean you have to have a
highly regarded status or think your something you're not.
Some are special, but that makes them no better or no worse
than anyone else,
this simply means that they are "different".
A specially-gifted person is no better or no worse
than anyone else,
this just means that they have a talent that's "different"
from the popular public.
A specially-challenged person is no better or no worse
than anyone else,
this just means that they are something less than the popular public,
labeling them as "different".
I am special but I am no better or no worse than anyone else,
this just means that I am "different"
from the popular public.
